Arik Levy: when design takes on a whole new dimension

Arik Levy: where art meets design

For Arik Levy, the boundaries between art and design are there to be blurred. Sculpture, furniture, installations, exhibition design… The designer explores all forms of creation, driven by a single obsession: to imbue objects and spaces with meaning. Born in Tel Aviv in 1963, Arik Levy studied industrial design in Switzerland before settling in Paris. In 1997, he founded the L Design studio with Pippo Lionni, where he developed a multidisciplinary approach blending art, technology and industrial design.

Known for his geometric sculptures from the Rock series, he also collaborates with leading furniture and lighting manufacturers, including Vitra, Vibia, EMU and Baleri. His work is based on a firm belief: an object must not merely be beautiful. It must forge a connection with the person using it and with the environment in which it is placed. This philosophy is reflected in the Horizon collection, designed for the Italian manufacturer Baleri and available to hire from Maison Vachon.

With Arik Levy, furniture does more than simply occupy space; it offers a fresh perspective.

Horizon: design that looks further ahead

Conceived in 2005, the Horizon collection stands out for its clean lines, generous proportions and contemporary elegance. Its aesthetic strikes a balance between simplicity and comfort, with seats featuring bold proportions and white leather upholstery that adds a touch of brightness to the overall look.

The range allows you to create cohesive lounge areas, whether in a corporate setting or a more sophisticated VIP environment.

Horizon Sofa: elegance on a grand scale

With the Horizon sofa, produced by Baleri, Arik Levy has designed a piece with understated lines and a contemporary silhouette. Its white leather upholstery and structured proportions allow it to blend into elegant settings whilst maintaining a strong visual presence.

In a VIP area, a showroom, a trade fair or an office, it serves as a focal point around which to create a truly welcoming space. Maison Vachon also offers the Horizon Rose 3-Seater sofa, a variation created by us that brings added softness and colour to the interior design.

A sofa that thinks big, without going over the top.

Horizon Armchair: comfort takes centre stage

The Horizon armchair, also produced by Baleri, features the collection’s signature lines in a single-seater design. With its generous proportions and white leather upholstery, it combines comfort with contemporary elegance.

It can be used on its own to furnish a waiting area or combined with the sofas in the range to create a harmonious lounge. Particularly well-suited to lounge areas, VIP zones and corporate events, it helps to create a welcoming atmosphere without overwhelming the décor.

A seat that successfully blends comfort and character.

Horizon Chaise Longue: another way to relax

With the Horizon chaise longue, Arik Levy extends the collection’s aesthetic into a piece that invites you to make yourself at home. Available from Maison Vachon in two versions – with a right- or left-hand armrest – it allows for varied configurations and flexibility in space planning.

Its sleek design and white leather upholstery make it a particularly attractive choice for VIP lounges or contemporary lounges. Combined with the other Horizon pieces, it allows you to create more open compositions and structure the space.

An invitation to step back. And above all, to take your time.

Horizon OTTOMAN: the small addition that makes all the difference

With the Horizon ottoman, Arik Levy completes the collection with a piece that is both understated and versatile. Used as an extra seat or to complement an armchair or sofa, it makes it easy to adapt the layout of a lounge area.

Its appeal lies in its simplicity of use: it complements the other pieces in the collection without visually weighing down the interior.

Proof that small pieces can also have big ambitions.

Why choose Arik Levy furniture for an event?

With the Horizon collection, Arik Levy offers a vision of furniture where aesthetics always complement functionality. The sofas help to structure reception areas, the armchairs provide comfortable individual seating, the chaise longues add a more relaxed feel, and the pouffes complete the arrangements.

This synergy allows you to create harmonious lounge areas, particularly suited to corporate events, trade fairs, showrooms and VIP receptions. The white leather brings brightness and elegance, whilst the collection’s contemporary lines blend easily into both understated and more striking settings. Hiring Arik Levy furniture therefore enables you to create spaces that are comfortable, contemporary and visually cohesive.

Because a successful space is also one where people want to linger.
