A PIONEER OF INDUSTRIAL FURNITURE

Founded in 1933 by Paul-Henry Nicolle, the Chaises Nicolle factory has established itself as a reference in steel work. Born in 1930 in the Parisian workshops of its creator, a craftsman specialized in the manufacture of metal washers, the Nicolle chair is at the very origin of the company.

The resulting Nicolle stool was designed to meet the new safety and comfort requirements of the early 20th century. These parts discreetly equipped the French factories until a regulation imposing five-foot seats ended their production.

THE REBIRTH OF AN ICON

In 2004, Jérôme Lepert finally brought the brand back to life by reissuing these iconic pieces according to the original manufacturing techniques and with vintage tools. The current collection offers chairs and stools in a wide range of colors, dimensions and finishes. The seat can be embellished with a pancake for optimal comfort, and an outdoor line now completes the offer, allowing this timeless furniture to adapt to any space.

SUSTAINABILITY AND FRENCH AUTHENTICITY

Authentic and entirely made in France, the Nicolle chair perpetuates a know-how passed down from generation to generation. The brand combines respect for tradition and innovation by continuously optimizing its production processes, both in terms of material management and manufacturing efficiency. The metal, fully recyclable and particularly durable material, gives these pieces a resolutely eco-design dimension.

Whether in a restaurant, around a counter or within a showroom, the Chaise Nicolle transcends its industrial heritage to assert itself as an icon of contemporary design. Its timeless aesthetic and robustness make it a privileged choice for spaces that combine character and durability.
