The friendship between Benoit Loos and Philippe Delaisse is at the origin of Ethnicraft, founded in Antwerp, Belgium, over 25 years ago. The publisher offers a wide and diversified repertoire of furniture, always with a timeless simplicity on which it has forged its image. You'll find everything from furniture to decorative accessories in their collections.
Solid wood is their material of choice. It is prized for its warmth, solidity and, of course, durability. This spirit is reflected in their slogan: “We create the essentials for your interior, to bring life to your everyday life”.
The Bok chair, designed by Alain Van Havre, has become a benchmark for this publisher, with its airy design and graceful form. We also find numerous models of shelves and bookcases, as well as the
Nordic sideboard. On the seating side, the
N701 collection by designer Jacques Deneef stands out for the Belgian publisher. It is available in a range of sofa and low armless chairs, offering an infinite number of possibilities. Initially available in fabric, the N701 range is now available with leather seats.
Ethnicraft does everything in its power to achieve a sustainable model, whether through refurbishment or recycling. Where the publisher takes particular care is in the choice of materials used in the design of their products. The wood selected comes from responsibly and sustainably managed forests.
For the next 25 years, the company has put in place a new vision of sustainable development, based on the principles of the circular economy and the extension of product lifetimes.
