A FRENCH STORY

TIPTOE is a young publisher that came into being in 2015, thanks to the partnership of Matthieu Bourgeaux and Vincent Quesada. With a rich family heritage of entrepreneurs in metal machining in Haute-Savoie, Matthieu was inspired by artisanal know-how and a material that would form the basis of the thousands of mechanical parts that would make up their creations.

At the end of 2014, the duo launched their iconic table legs that can support any tabletop. The TIPTOE concept was born. Literally “pointe de pied” in French, the brand spreads the idea that furniture legs can be used as a true design element. Following the success of their legs, they decided to complete their offer by launching their own table tops, making it easier for customers to access a finished product.

TIPTOE feet are made of steel and have become a must-have. Thanks to its clamp system, the foot “bites” the tabletop at the desired point. Then, simply turn the screw by hand to assemble the 2 parts. The result: you don't need any tools, and in just a few seconds, you've got an installation to match. Indeed, the aim is to create a bespoke piece of furniture that adapts perfectly to different types of space. In addition to the practicality and sturdiness of the base, the range of colors on offer is captivating. From vivid shades to softer hues, TIPTOE is inspired by interior design trends. More recently, the brand has expanded its product range to include shelving, chairs and lighting fixtures to complement their customers' interior designs.

RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

While their aim is to create aesthetic, designer products, TIPTOE is also committed to a global approach that respects the environment. To this end, all their products are designed and manufactured in France and Europe, to guarantee proximity to production sites. The origin of materials is also taken into account: recycled wood or wood from eco-managed forests are used, as well as recycled plastic.
In 2021, TIPTOE will become a company with a mission. Certified B Corp, an international certification awarded to companies that meet high social and environmental standards, the company is committed to progress and to making a positive impact at every stage in the product life cycle.
