The Capitol Complex armchair indigo blue velvet was designed in 1951 by Pierre Jeanneret and edited by Cassina (reissued in 2019).
Contemporary reinterpretation of the original armchair created for the Capitol Complex in Chandigarh (India) under the direction of Le Corbusier, this version pays tribute to Pierre Jeanneret with elegance. Its structure in solid black wood is based on characteristic inverted "V" supports, faithfully reproduced to preserve the architectural spirit. The seat and backrest are filled with high-density foam, wrapped in an indigo blue velvet coating, which provides visual warmth and enveloping comfort.
