The Capitol Complex chair, designed in 1954 by Swiss architect and designer Pierre Jeanneret for the Chandigarh government project in India. This model embodies the perfect balance between functionality and raw aesthetics. It has now been reissued by Cassina, in keeping with the original materials and exact proportions of the historic model.
Characterized by its inverted “V” base and sculpted armrests, this black-lacquered solid wood chair is adorned with a seat and backrest in natural cane, adding elegance and visual lightness.
