A FRENCH PUBLISHER

When Amélie Du Passage founded Petite Friture in 2009, she combined her passion for design with her entrepreneurial drive. In 12 years of existence, this inspirational woman has maintained her vision of the design world and established her brand as a respected furniture publisher. Over the years, Petite Friture has grown. From a small designer to an essential brand in the world of decoration, the young company has relied on innovative products that claim no time. It was at the Maison&Objet trade show in 2010 that the publisher succeeded in distinguishing itself by its singularity on the design market.

CHOOSING THE RIGHT PARTNERS

The Vertigo collection, which includes the Vertigo lamp, is a fine example of the entrepreneurial spirit demonstrated by the publisher. By teaming up with Constance Guisset for one of its first projects, their creation became a must: the Vertigo lamp is now considered the brand's best-seller.

Over the years, the publisher has surrounded itself with top designers such as Noé Duchaufour Lawrance, the Pool studio, Sam Baron and Studio Brichet Ziegler, which came to prominence with the launch of its Weekend line of outdoor furniture. Today, Petite Friture designs its collections with the help of 30 employees and nearly 40 designers. As for Amélie Du Passage, she is in charge of all the Artistic Direction for this house of meticulous aesthetics.

OFFBEAT ART AND A RESPONSIBLE BRAND

Petite friture plays with graphics, patterns and geometry. This approach enables her to produce unique products, thanks to the brand's designers, who draw their creations exclusively. At the same time, Amelie Du Passage doesn't hesitate to turn to other talents. These include emerging designers with an audacious sense of art in keeping with the spirit of Petite Friture.

The collections that emerge from all these encounters are 60% made in France, the rest in Europe. Their furniture and objects are eco-designed, sustainable and free of artifice. Their promise is as inspiring as their furniture: “to create a vibrant, narrative encounter around the beautiful, and to infuse it with a resolutely optimistic and free state of mind so that from the beautiful emerges the good”. Petite Friture is resolutely free and generous, with its own vision of contemporary design.
